Rock of Ages

Where do I begin to describe a movie that I almost consider a spiritual revelation! Long Live Rock and Roll!! This movie was AWESOME!! The fact that I know and already loved almost all of the songs used in the movie combined with a perfect plot- which although predictable was exactly what the music required- The music from the 80s CAME TO LIFE! Literally right before your eyes. I could not believe how touched I was by the timing of the songs against the plot and what the characters were dealing with at the moment they were singing each particular song. I sang, I laughed, I cheered, and I cried!!! I downloaded the soundtrack on my way home from the movie!!! I went into it expecting to be entertained, and what I got was soooo much more! WOW!!! It is romantic, tragic and sweet; It also manages to be grotesque, yet sexy. But what surprised me the most is how deep it actually managed to be despite its apparent popcorn movie facade.... Go figure! Best movie of 2012 hands down!!! Get Noticed with a $7.99 .CO!

Snow White and the Huntsman

This movie was not really all that much to fuss about. I rarely am critical of movies, as I respect the fact that such a large crew of people put so much time and creative skills into them. However, every now and then one simply feels he must let other's know what you think....right? Snow White and The Huntsman, was boring, had no real depth, and was predictable. Kirsten Stewart is very cute and all, but once she is wielding a sword, and giving a brave-heart-like motivational speech...she kind of turns a little ridiculous. Chris Hemsworth is a good Huntsman but his character has no real appeal. All in all, I'd say, best re-watch Twilight if you want to see Kirsten at her best, and re-watch Thor, if you want to see Chris at his best. Thanks for reading! I went and saw Prometheus yesterday on opening day. It is a prequel to the ALIEN movies. I was VERY impressed with the special effects. It pushes the envelope, once again, as previous ALIEN and ALIENS movies did. The concept of space travel, suiting up and landing on a new planet, is all done in an extraordinary and visionary way. So throughout the movie you are never bored and there is no shortage of cool captivating things to look at. The acting was good for the most part. Now having said that I must add that this movie also rates a 9 out of 10 on the WEIRDNESS SCALE. It seems like they are just trying soo hard to make it a complex story line, that they just took the viewers into a land of weirdness and an area where the viewer is just left with more mysterious questions.... ALIENS had so much heart, and the characters were really likable. Prometheus is a much darker movie. Let me know what you think when you see it! Get Noticed with a $7.99 .CO!

This movie was definitely funny, or entertaining in the same wacky way that the previous Men In Blacks were. Will Smith plays "J" and Tommy Lee Jones plays "K". And Josh Brolin plays a younger "K" from the year 1969. The aliens are fun to look at and the jokes, punch lines and are all predictable and yet still manage to do their job. The action scenes are, again, wacky yet do deliver some intensity. So if you liked the previous MIBs then you should not be disappointed. Go Daddy Deal of the Week: Get 15% off your order! THIS MOVIE WAS PHENOMENAL!!! If you like super hero movies, or if you can tolerate them, or if you are a big Super Hero movie buff, this movie is going to be a lot of fun for you! Each character has his own strengths and weaknesses. Each character has to come to terms with those weaknesses, and it is a great plot! Loki is a great villain, and The HULK was funny as hell! Enjoy this one with anyone in the family who has a little imagination. I REALLY RECOMMEND IT!!! Open Your Business to the World! $7.99 .COMS at Go Daddy

Tron Legacy...Highly anticipated, did it live up to expectations?

If I were to grade it on the visual experience alone....yes, it definitely is very very cool!

"The Grid" as it is called is replete with all of the very cool games that we were expecting- The LightCycles, and the Disc throwing games. All very cool to watch.

Now....grading its plot is a different story- You have to keep in mind that it is completely science fiction, gone in a direction that we are not used to.... Perhaps it is ahead of our times again (Tron was ahead of its time back when it was made).

So, I found that the plot was not the main thing that kept me was the continued visual experience.

In summary, go check it out and have fun. Rent Tron on DVD before you go see it so you can understand more about the characters.
